YOUTUBING YO ASSS OFF

It's weird what we find funny these days, huh?

When did we all become retarded? I dunno, but it has happened.

Bobby D.

Man I wish I didn't use Facebook so much! Slash at all! Tiz the DEVEEL! I keep putting loads of Dylan inspired stuff on my page/wall (bookface talk) and I fear it may be too much. People might get a little too bombarded and I may have the reverse effect on them.. they wont like Bobby as much as they should. So I'll spread it evenly by posting some Bob Dylan shiz here.

Here's a song link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueGuzmotwaI&feature=related
Here's an interview link: http: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR8YuIGqWi4

Ahhh. Thank Google that's done..

Gooogle

It seems as if Google is the new devil these days. People no longer blame conglomerates of the real world (such as Coke) for all of it's evils, but instead hand it over to the conglomerates of cyberspace. Anyway I'm not going to try and get anymore sociological than that last sentence because actually the reason for this post is way trivial. Waay.
The idea is about using this wonderful new-found scapegoat for use of slang. To replace the average swearword (fuck, bastard, skankwhore etc.) with Google.
Result:
You motherGoogler.
What the Google was she on about?
Sweet mother of Google.

and my favourite, inspired recently by that new Star Trek movie/mistake:
Are you out of your Google mind?!

Ahh it entertained me for a little while anyway..

the Tarantino Code

I was sent this link by a friend (Gabriel) and I dug it straight away. Tiz filmed well, what can I say? Plus, imagine how much genius we could credit Quentin with if all of this was in fact intentional? This probably is not making sense to you yet.. all the more reason to check out this short film.

WATCHMEN

Alan Moore. A guy who likes his comic books, comic books. And that's understandable as so far the pieces that have been translated to screen haven't exactly made his contributed-to-life-achievements list (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell, V for Vendetta- which is apparently the more respected adaptation to date). Did that sentence make any sense to you? A little i hope, at least. Anydooser, we all know that his most famous work, Watchmen, is being made into a film that'll be coming out on March 6. But what is less known is that it was close to being made by Terry Gilliam from a script written by a man called Sam Hamm. Ahh if only.. But that's okay, we'll see how Snyder goes before we judge. However if you want to check out the would-be Gilliam-Hamm adaptation here's the link (thanks Jono :D).
I like the opening.

Online COMICS!

I was a-dawdling threw cyberspace and came across this online independent comic series. It took a wee while for me to really like it but I consider that a good thing. All i can say in naww.. Very honest, personal and quaint comic biography/diary of an intriguing boy. The thing I enjoyed about it most were the little everyday moments that I completely empathized with ie. I love VAngelis, too [read it. you will understand.]

Conceptual Art

Blade Runner conceptual sketch by Syd Mead. I know it's just a Google Image search but really it's a bril way to see the guys stuff. Ah man the detail, his style, use of colour, depth, breadth, sense of true reality within a fantasy- you can't not appreciate that. I'm melting a bit, does it show?
